Charlie and Ginny were separated by several states this week but that didn’t stop them from bringing you a new episode. Like a true boozehound, Ginny is able to track down quality whiskey in the most unlikely locations. In between taffy shops, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and airbrush t-shirt shops in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee you can find Davy Crockett’s Tennessee Whiskey. Come along as Ginny tastes all six of their offerings and brings a bottle back home for Charlie. And as for the cocktail…the less said about that the better.

Davy Crockett’s Tennessee Whiskey
Ginny Tonic Describes Here Experiences Sampling The Whiskey:
Davy Crockett’s Tennessee Whiskey is located on Parkway Ave in downtown Tennessee and is open for a free tasting of all of their products until 11 pm everyday. A true micro-distillery, Davy Crockett’s has only been open since November but they are already becoming a popular tourist attraction. I guess that’s what you get when you give away free alcohol. While there you can try their Chockin Chicken corn vodka, the Cooter Brown 80 proof blended whiskey, Ole Coonskin 90 proof Tennessee Whiskey, and their four varieties of flavored whiskey: chocolate, toasted pecan, salted caramel, and cinnamon. This small company is in the process of finding a distributer but in the mean time they are only selling bottles out of their tasting room in Gatlinburg. If you find yourself in town make a stop and get some for yourself. Trust me, it is the best souvenir on the strip.
