Episode #32 – Spirituality, Summer Films and the Quaker

Episode #32 – Spirituality, Summer Films and the Quaker

It’s interesting that one of the more difficult topics Ginny Tonic and Charlie have ever covered on the show would be the question of spirituality. This week, they both discuss a side of their life that hasn’t been public and are brutally honest about their quest to a broader understanding of a side of life that is tough to explain. From there, we share movie reviews of both Abraham Lincoln and the Amazing Spider-Man films then settle into a Bottoms Up segment, music and the close. This week we promise a very interesting episode.

  1. Gintia says:

I was very interested in your comments about your spiritual life and development, both of you. Thanks for sharing! I found myself saying about one thing “I knew Ginny and I were twins” and then a minute later “I have always thought exactly the same thing, Charlie.” Oddly, about things that were almost contradictory. Would love to sit down and chat with you about it all sometime!

So, are you going to solicit weird celebrity crushes for inclusion on next week’s show?

    • Ginny says:

I am so glad you enjoyed the show. Like we said, we were kind of worried about how it would be received. And yes, I am working on an article soliciting weird celebrity crushes even as we speak.

    • Charlie says:

Would love to have that chat. I find myself thinking about the topic of this week’s show quite a bit lately.

  2. Juliet says:

I really didn’t know what to expect from the spirituality segment, and I ended up really enjoying your discussion. I’m so used to supposed discussions of spirituality turning into anything but that (and usually getting politically heated). So it was so nice to hear the two of you talk honestly about your journey and what has and hasn’t worked for you. It sounds like Ginny and I have a lot in common in this regard.

Thanks for something interesting and thought-provoking, which although you guys have said this was something a bit different for the show, didn’t really seem all that out of the ordinary because you handled the topic really well.
